This economical SH-2 model Magnetic Stirrer Hot Plate independently controls temperature and stirring speed. The 120 ×120mm Stirring Hot Plate has a 180W heating power and 716°F (380°C) maximum temperature. The magnetic stirrer is adjustable from 100 to 2000 rpm. A support stand with an adjustable thermometer holder is also included. Suitable for industrial, agricultural, medical and health, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities laboratory liquid mixing heating.

How do I fix it if the indicator is not lit when the power is turned on?
1.Please check if your voltage is suitable and it is 110V±10V.
2.Please inspect whether motor when power changes and the motor is overloaded. If the fuse is damaged, replace it with the fuse supplied together with the machine or a proper one of the same specification you can find.
Power safety
Magnetic Stirrer has a voltage of 110 watts, Turn off the on/off button before using it and connect the power cable. There is a fuse built into the underside of the power connector so that you can always replace it if it short-circuits.
Warm tip
The Hot plate stirrer has a speed knob at the bottom which increases the speed clockwise and decreases it counterclockwise. And there is a heat dissipation gap to extend the life of the mixer.
Can the equipment control temperature and keep constant temperature?
The control of heating power does not mean that temperature can be controlled (i.e. the temperature cannot be controlled). You need a thermometer to manually adjust heating operation if you intend to control the temperature.
What’s the size of the magnetic stir bar?
The size of an original magnetic stir bar is 1 inch and it is enough to stir a lot of liquid. If you want to get the max. stirring speed faster than the device default, there is a trim resistor at the bottom of the unit. You can use a screwdriver to fine-tune directly. (However, please exercise caution. It can easily cause the liquid to splash out, if the stirring speed is too fast.)
Can I heat liquid to boiling condition?
It’s difficult to perform stirring and heating simultaneously for the stirrer with heating power at 180W only for the stirred liquid keeps losing heat. As a result, we suggest that stirring shall be stopped when heating is performed, or you can get boiling liquid by heating and stirring such liquid in a sealed container.
